Integritas Quality System (IQS)
Giving the aerospace industry the clarity and confidence to operate at world-class levels, every shift, every day.
What is IQS?
IQS is an advanced surveillance program designed to accurately assess deviation rates and drive continual improvements across an entire facility. It was developed out of extensive experience in aircraft production and MRO activities. The proprietary approach enhances existing AS9100 quality programs and ensures our customers are able to proactively measure compliance levels and drive consistent cultural change.
IQS Supports Safety Management Systems (SMS)
IQS enhances any site’s Quality Management Systems and AS9100 compliance activities while specifically providing benefits to the Safety Risk Management (SRM) and Safety Assurance (SA) components of SMS.
Minimizing Safety Concerns: It works to minimize the probability of mishaps and escapes by improving process compliance on the production floor and back shops. This is a direct measure of an effective SMS in preventing safety events.
Proactive Root Cause Correction: It is designed to correct root causes before individual issues become systemic problems. This is a key function of Safety Assurance—identifying and addressing latent failures and system weaknesses.
Controlling Deviation Rates: It helps control critical deviation rates across the entire site, providing measurable results that demonstrate the SMS is effectively mitigating operational risks.
Enhanced Surveillance and Data: It provides fully integrated independent quality surveillance, using real-time assessments and a proprietary sampling methodology that significantly enhances AS9100 activities and establishes measurable confidence levels. This provides the detailed, actionable and comparative data needed for informed safety decision-making under the SA component.
Operational & Financial Benefits
Successful implementation of IQS has cut process deviation rates in half within the first year, thus freeing up resources and reducing pressure, allowing the organization to fully realize its quality goals and support its SMS.
Cost and Resource Savings: By achieving a positive return on investment (ROI) through abatement of rework and scrap costs, the program returns profits to programs and shareholders. This financial stability enables the sustained resourcing and continuous improvement required by an SMS.
Reduced Oversight: It can reduce customer complaints and oversight requirements by establishing confidence in the organization's self-governance and commitment to safety and quality.
